Cozy and relaxing stay!

We had such a nice stay in a three bed lodge! Breakfast was super delish, loved chatting with other guests over coffee. Amanda was amazing! Totally made us feel at home. The only thing was that the shower could’ve used a little more pressure, but honestly, it didn’t ruin anything for us. Can’t wait to return with our dog!

Beautiful gardens enhance the tranquil atmosphere.

During my stay, I found the bed uncomfortably hard, impacting my sleep. the shower pressure was disappointing, making it challenging to enjoy a refreshing experience. Despite the charming ambiance, I expected more comfort from the accommodations.

Had a lovely stay in the Granary Cottage, but the wi-fi was a bit hit or miss, and we could've used more comfy seating. The kitchen was excellent for saving some cash, chur!

my wife and i had a lovely romantic trip at the poplars. the breakfast was simply fantastic, especially the black pudding! our standard double room was clean, cozy, and had a super comfy bed.

would have loved more comfy seating.

The location is conveniently close to the interesting town centre and Thirsk station, making travel to York easy. The gardens are beautifully maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere, and the baked goods upon arrival were a lovely touch.

We had a fantastic time staying in the cozy Triple Room with Shower, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The lounge had a great TV area and comfy seating, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The shower could have used a bit more pressure, but overall it didn't take away from our enjoyable stay. 😊
